About the Secrecy Surrounding our Identities.

Unfortunately as with many groups involved with "Mystery" faiths and traditions such as Wicca, Witchcraft and paganism etc it is not possible for us to identify either ourselves or our group members in anyway.

This practice is common amongst adherents to our faiths and traditions due to our oaths of secrecy.

Please don't feel that because of this we have anything to hide as we do not.

We are happy to discuss most matters... you need only ask.

This secrecy on the part of many wiccan's, witches and wizards who as followers of the wiccan faith and those who have association with earth based faith and occult oriented traditions is out of necessity driven by fear of persecution by followers of mainstream religions and others within our own communities who through lack of understanding and prejudice may harass or incite hatred against us.

This fear is well founded... as intolerance towards “wiccan's”, “witches” and “wizards” is a matter of public record. As is the secrecy with which “wiccan's”, “witches” and “wizards” have to lead the religious side of their lives.

Again, please don't feel at all offended by the fact we stay behind a veil as far as our identity is concerned.

Highcross Quarter - Domain Name Dispute Cases

September 13th 2007 - Statement from Morrigan Wisecraft

We are pleased to announce we have won our Highcrossquarter.com domain name dispute case with Hammerson Plc.

The news came as a great relief to us as it has been greatly worrying and upsetting to us that we could lose something we got to first, fair and square for our own advantage and not anyone else’s disadvantage.

It is impossible for us to be triumphalist about winning this case as it has greatly affected us even down to our health. Being senior in years we have had many battles in our lives of one sort or another and we have learned to take them in our stride. But this was just so unnecessary that Hammerson Plc put us through this for something they now say they do not need. What sort of game is it they thought they were playing?

The support of our families and well wishers from around the east midlands and further afield was of great value to us and we would like to thank you all many of you who continue to email us in your thousands.

All we ever wanted was to have quiet websites that represented our various mystery faith views and traditions covering the sabbats, Wicca and occult.

We would like to ask that Hammerson considers carefully our request for them to withdraw action over the .co.uk domain name we also own and allow us to continue to develop our websites in peace.

And on the basis that they do, our Coven would like to wish them and the Highcross Leicester retail development the very best of good fortune and success in the future.
